Why Should More Moms Choose Organic Clothing?
Making a choice to buy organic clothing over traditional clothing is usually a no brainer for most moms. Usually, good moms make better choices for their children than they make for themselves. In this case, it truly works out for the best. Especially because non- organic clothing is more harmful for babies and their tender skin oppose to the skin of most adults.
Let me Explain, In Most cases you will discover that newborn babies develop rashes quickly from unknown chemicals and dyes and bleaches that are often found in traditional clothing. Not only is that an interesting fact, but a lot of babies suffer from allergic reactions as well because of traditional clothing. That’s why it is so important to at least consider what’s best for your baby or the new baby in your life.
You should always consider Organic Clothing for your baby to wear. Why? There are several reasons why you should. But the first and most important reason is because organic clothing is grown without the use of any harmful toxic chemicals, Pesticides, and fertilizers. That fact alone is enough to stir more moms away from traditional baby clothing and become more persuaded toward organic baby clothing instead. I’m sure it will be refreshing to know that your baby’s clothes will not be subjected to dyes and harmful bleaches.
Secondly, Organic fibers have longer fibers than conventional cotton. That just means that the resulting fabric is much softer and thicker and is overall more durable. Which is one of the reason why I must point out that organic clothes are a little more expensive than traditional clothing. But you would probably agree with me when I say, “the cost is nothing compared to having clothes free of pesticides”. Especially if it’s for your newborn baby.
Lastly, I encourage you to keep in mind that organic clothing has less of an impact on our environment as well. So, not only are you protecting your baby but you’re helping out your environment with healthier and wiser buying choices as well.

I am not quite sure what Mary is speaking about. I am a certified Nutritionist in Pediatric Nutrition and as long as you feed your child properly, home made baby foods using organically grown produce will never cause starvation in a child. You simply have to follow regualr feeding guidelines. I would however avoid processed organic baby foods, as these tend to lack some nutrition.
As far as other things you can do, use your imagination! I always praise the value of cloth diapers… specifically Tiny Tush Elite. They end up being easier to use (you never run out!) and much cheaper in the long run. For wipes, use some flannel cloth and soak it is witch hazel and water mixture. And for a diaper ointment, stay away from commercial products and use good ol’ olive oil, it mimics sebum (the natural oils of the skin). With 4 kids, I never had one diaper rash to deal with using olive oil and cloth diapers.
