11 months old, still nursing, still getting organic jarred baby foods, but the only thing he’ll pick up and chew are the Gerber puffs, and he LOVES them! I’ve tried soft fruits and steamed veggies cut in very small pieces, but he sort of gnaws, looking miserable, then either spits them out or gags them down. It doesn’t look very pleasant. Any ideas?

check out gerber online. they have all of their product broken down by what stage your baby is at. if he’s an advanced crawler or starting to walk they have the little entrees. you could try those. my daughter doesn’t do the best with soft fruits or steamed veggies either, but if it looks like big people food she’s all over it!
