I want to say it again…SCREW LOTTERY CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Yesterday I lost $40 on those stupid Rich & Royal cards. Today, guess what I did
1.) I went to the Farmers Market and bought
a AAA beef Patty with an ice tea
$5 (the same price as a roulette)
I bought a organic cookie
$1.25 (the same price as a Black Jack)
I bought a Bubble Tea
$4.50 (the same price as a Set For Life)
I caught a ride home in a taxi
$23.65 (The same price as a rich and royal)-I paid the guy $25 though
Total cost for the day $35.75
$4.25 less than I would of spent on TWO of those stupid cards
Please Don’t get into them they are terrible
HOWEVER, EVERY single penny of that I made on the roulette wheel so keep that in mind before you knock gambling, it is giving me a WAY better life than I could of had otherwise
I checked the payouts. Looks like your odds are better saving the money for a year and flying to Las Vegas to gamble. It’s more fun anyway, and a slot machine’s odds are better than the tickets.
The expected return on $20 is $13.50 and that takes the annuity prizes as cash instead and excludes any taxes on winnings if it isn’t tax-free. Changing the top price to an annuity drops it to $13.10. Even slots here in Las Vegas is about a 90% return or $18 per $20.
Anyway, it’s well known that lottery tickets are a tax on the people who can least afford it.
