the reason why i’m asking is because i have recently bought their body wash and was looking at their ingredients and it listed sodium myreth sulfate and sodium benzoate in it. the enviromental club at my school said it was good for the enviroment, but is it good for the body?

Since there is no federal standard on organic cosmetics any company can call any cosmetic organic and get away with it even if there are zero certified organic ingredients in the product.

So Jason can put whatever they want into their products and call it organic even though there may be ingredients such a parabens or sodium benzoate that are definitely not considered organic under the USDA NOP.

if you want true organic cosmetics you have to see that 100% of their ingredients are certified organic on the label, otherwise, you are looking at so much (over priced) snake oil
