Is everything organic expensive?

I know organic food is more expensive, but lets say if i wanted to start making t-shirts from organic cotton and make that comes with the t-shirt organic/recycled (such as a label made from organic cotton, the hang tags made from recycled paper etc.). Would it be more expensive or cheaper than using regular cotton, and etc?
