Are trace minerals considered organic fertilizers?

I’m trying to develop an organic fertilizer that contains a mixture of beneficial items not normally available at the store. I am using cottonseed meal, bone meal, magnesium, rock phosphate all of which I know are organic. I will add beneficial fungi also which I know is organic. But, I want to add trace minerals from a company in South Dakota that is a blend of copper, zinc, boron and such but all bonded together in a single granule so if the plant hits one granule with the root it get all the minerals. When I asked them if their product was considered organic they say they don’t know what I am asking that their product is considered “a manufactured fertilizer”. I know these minerals are organic but does the process of putting them together kick them out of the organic category?

Technically, yes. It’s kinda the same thing with the kind of fertilizer than farmers use for their crops, which is in a granulated form. Most often when these minerals are manufactured into their granulated compounds, they are done so using petroleum resources and not organic resources.

BTW, minerals are really considered inorganic compounds because they are compounds that are not derived from nor found in living organisms. It doesn’t make them artificial, but it’s just that it comes from non-living, abiotic things. Just some useless info for you.
