that way they wouldn’t have to cut out so much. and the progression through the year would be more organic. they could have the christmas parts in christmas episodes during december, and have each book be a different tv season.
I like that idea. They could definitely pack more detail if it was a TV series. However, books aren’t good for adaptation for a series because they usually lack enough story for 8 or 9 months of programming. This of course applies to the first 3 books, which I thought were summed up quite well in the movies. It got kind of worse after that.
