One year old nephew, vomiting everyday?!?
My nephew just turned one years old last week. He’s had a vomiting problem since he was 4 months old. He’s been on breast milk, formulas (5 different kids, newest one is hypoallergenic but still contains corn and soy) Even when he is eating baby food (Earth’s Best organic) he is still vomiting. We give him pedialyte to hydrate him but we are really concerned with how he is doing. He doesn’t seem to really be in pain, before and after vomiting he is bubbly and happy. He only cries right after he vomits most likely cause he’s scared.
The doctor said he has acid reflux but the “medicine” they prescribe doesn’t work and I’d really like a holistic approach.
Is there ANYTHING anyone can give me advice on? We live in North Carolina so if anyone knows any doctors?

What medication did they prescribe for the reflux? My son was diagnosed at 2 years old and has been on previcid ever since. He takes 1 15mg tablet a day. Also try to figure out if certain foods are aggravating it. Anything with tomato’s or peaches does it for my son. Also we make sure he has no drinks with any carbonation. Not even sips of soda. If he has tried previcid you might be able to talk to the doctor about nexium but keep in mind that these medications do take weeks to build up in their system before they will work correctly. Only other thing you can really do is change his diet which it sounds like you have already tried. It got so bad for us that my son would not gain weight and could not eat anything without getting sick. I begged the doctors for over a year to test him and it took me getting down right belligerent with a doctor to get it done. Now at 4 1/2 my son has finally caught up in growth. I pray he won’t have to be on the medication forever but unfortunately when i do try to wean him off the symptoms come back so for now looks like we are stuck with it. Good luck. Your not alone.
