Transitioning Question– Almost 8 months without a relaxer?

I LOVE the texture of my natural hair (wavy curls when conditioned properly), but I’m beginning to hate my relaxed ends. They’re scraggly, tanglely, dry, uneven, and damaged. I’d love to cut them all off (I cut a little every 2 months), but I don’t like short hair on me. My natural hair is growing, but I want it long (mid back) before my big chop.
I wash it with Aubrey Organics shampoos/conditioners once a week and use shea butter, olive oil, aloe vera, and lavender e. oil and sometimes an olive oil/cinnamon/ginger mix on my hair and scalp, but one side of my hair is starting to show more weakness/breakage with this than the other and I don’t know what to do.
Should I switch products? If so what? (natural ingredients only)

Just cut one inch off your hair- not even if you really don’t want to lose the lenght. But there is a Damage Repair kit from Aveda (pretty much all natural, no harsh chemicals) its a bit pricey, but it strenghtens your hair and makes it nice and soft. Salons use it for a treatment!
