Advise on how to grow apples and pears?

I am trying to germinate and grow plants from ORGANIC apples and pears. Could you please give me STEP-BY-STEP instructions on what to do from the moment I picked the seed out of the fruit to the time the plan is growing and needs to be planted. I currently live in Wisconsin, but I don’t have a permanent place to plant the trees yet. Would I be able to grow them in large pots for a while before finding a permanent home for the trees? of root-stocks, since apple varieties do not come true from seed. The seed
of apples is dormant and requires stratification at 34oF to 40oF for a
period of two to two and a half months for the completion of
after-ripening. From the time of its extraction from the fruit, the seed
should be kept continuously moist. Excessively prolonged drying results in
the loss of seed vitality.”

Keeping moist might be wrapping in moist sphagnum peat and keeping in the refrigerator for the required time. Or place into moist paper towel in a closed container for the time. At that time remove and place into pots to get the seeds started. Apple roots tend to grown down so you’ll need to clip them to encourage side branching.

The other choice is to sow them directly into the garden area, marking their location and letting Nature take care of the chilling requirement. When they are up about 4-7 inches, transplant to their permanent site.

Realize you’ll end up with a standard size tree, much too tall to pick easily. Even the semi dwarfs can get well over 20 feet tall.

You’d do better getting a semi dwarf or dwarf of your apple choice and growing it under organic conditions.

If your tree is a hybrid, then the resulting fruit will not breed true. The old fashion type, so called heritage apples, will breed true, more or less.
