Choose Organic Skin Care for A Healthier You!
More and more people are now choosing organic skin care products. Who wouldn’t want to use organic skin care products when these have amazing effects on the skin and doesn’t cause any harm to one’s health?
Organic products have been around for quite some time. Organic products refer to those that were produced without the use of synthetic fertilizers, hormones, pesticides, drugs, and synthetic chemicals. Health conscious and environmentally conscious people often choose to use organic products, whether in the form of food, cosmetics, and skin care products.
It is a good thing that more people are gaining awareness of the benefits of choosing organic skin care. Skin care products made with natural and organic ingredients are safer for the skin and the health than products with synthetic chemicals.
One example of a chemical that is commonly used in skin care products is parabens. Parabens are used as a preservative because it has bactericidal and fungicidal properties. It lengthens the shelf life of products. It has several harmful effects to the health based on studies.
It can cause disruption in the normal functioning of the endocrine system and it mimics the actions of the body’s natural hormones like estrogen. It can also cause skin reactions like allergies, irritation, and rashes. An alarming thing about parabens is that it can possibly lead to breast cancer as parabens was found to be present in the breast tissue of patients with breast cancer.
With the use of organic and natural skin care products, you won’t have to worry about these harmful health effects. Natural skin care is considered safe and even more effective. Here are three examples of natural skin care ingredients that give the best skin results.
- AVOCADO OIL
Avocado oil has many amazing benefits. It helps heal sun damage and reduces the appearance of scars and age spots. It also helps soften the skin and provides moisture for very dry and mature skin.
- SHEA BUTTER
Shea butter also works well as a skin emollient. It is a common ingredient in skin care products for stretch marks. Shea butter also provides sun protection due to its cinnamic acid content.
- PHYTESSENCE WAKAME
Phytessence wakame comes from a type of exotic kelp. It helps fight off the harmful effects of an enzyme called hyaluronidase which weakens collagen and elastin bonds, It also plays a role in the repair of damaged tissues.
There are a lot of organic ingredients in organic skin care that are effective and safer than the chemicals and synthetic substances that are commonly used in the most popular brands on the market today. Visit my site today to learn what these ingredients are and why they are best to use.
jojoba oil increasing acne prone skin?
I am using benzoyl peroxide for my severe acne.I was told to moisturise with jojoba oil after applying the treatment. Now my face is breaking out even worse.I have natural oily skin and it seems any kind of oil i put on my face(whether organic or refined)increases my acne. What i’m i doing wrong? All the oils are breaking me out;coconut oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, all the oil are causing my cystic acne to get worse. My face wash is also drying my face out.
Well, try tea tree oil. It is the best of all the oils. This type of oil is not like the others, it doesn’t clog your pores. It actually removes excess oil and dries out oil clogged pimples. Tea tree oil has been known for that, and that’s why many people have been using it and they all say it works beautifully to remove all pimples and zits. Here’s the proper way to apply tea tree oil on:
1. Wash you skin thoroughly and pat it dry with clean towel.
2. Wrap an ice cube in a washcloth and hold it over the spot for a minute or two; it’ll help bring down the swelling.
3. Dip the end of a cotton swab into some diluted tea tree oil (available at any pharmacy, and trust me, this oil was meant for the skin!) and dot a tiny amount directly into the pimple.
4. Leave it alone to heal. Don’t pop, pinch, or squeeze pimples, it will only make it worse.
Also, you can dab a bit of alcohol, lemon juice, toothpaste, or vinegar to pimple before going to bed each night. When you wake up the pimple will be gone. This is because lemon juice, alcohol, toothpaste and vinegar will dry the oil out of pimples.Salt mixed with some water also works. Apply the mixture directly into the pimple.
This works SOOOO well! I’m not kidding, and you got to try it!
And, tomato juice works too… you cut the tomato into slices and use it like a cleansing pad; rub it around your face and on pimples and pat dry with towel. You can make it into a natural exfoliating pad by sprinkling some sugar on the surface of the tomato slice and rubbing it all on your face.
Because acne is caused by oil clogged pores, people with oily skin experience blemishes more often. Here are some tips for controlling oily skin:
~ Twice a day, wash with a mild facial soap for oily skin.
~ Lightly exfoliate (never scrub) the whole face.
~ Moisturizing is not necessary everyday, but even oily skin can feel dry. If your skin feels tight, use an oil free moisturizer.
~ For breakouts use a product with AHA, such as Alpha Hydrox.
~ Use products that are oil-free and say they won’t clog pores.
~ Sprinkle juice from a pineapple, lemon, or orange into your bath water to keep oil under control.
Hope I helped!
