J.P. Licks, the homemade ice cream and coffee café with seven scoop shops in and around the Boston area, offers ice cream cakes for all occasions.
The Valentine’s Day cake is back! J.P. Licks offers a Valentine’s heart shaped cake and this year you can choose between their most popular ice cream flavor, Oreo, or yummy red raspberry ice cream, both have homemade fudge in the center and covered in rich chocolate ganache, chocolate shavings and of course, red roses.
You can pre-order your Valentine cake until February 11th either via phone, in person or online at jplicks.com. Only a limited number will be in stock in all locations so be sure to order ahead.
J.P. Licks offers ice cream cakes for many other holidays, this year will be adding a bunny ice cream cake for Easter as well as special in-stock cakes for Mother’s and Father’s Day. All J.P. Licks’ cakes are hand packed which eliminates the air that is present in most ice cream cakes thereby creating a dense and absolutely delicious cake.
J.P.Licks has in-stock ice cream cakes in all stores like Tiramisu, Oreo Ganache, Strawberry, Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Chip, Coffee Oreo, Cake Batter Surprise and Oreo/Vanilla Yogurt. Cakes may be personalized at the time of purchase. Special ice cream cake orders may be made from almost any flavor with 48 hours notice. “Baby” cakes are 6” round and serve 6-10 people; medium cakes are 8” round and serve 8-15 people; large size cakes are 10” round and serve 12-20. If you crave sorbet or sherbet or one of their liquor flavored ice creams you can get those flavors in a Pie!
Looking for a Valentine’s treat on a smaller scale? How about an El Diablo sundae made with cinnamon and cayenne peppered chocolate ice cream and sprinkled with hot cinnamon hearts? Or, treat your sweetheart to J.P. Licks special February flavors which include Coconut Crème, Chocolate Orange, Snickers, Cheesecake Brownie, Organic/Fair trade Infused Coffee, Mango Sorbet, Lime Sherbet, Strawberry Lactose Free, or Black Raspberry Chip Low Fat Yogurt.

Lemon organic cake with strawberry ice cream and vanilla frosting or Organic Vanilla cake with strawerry ice cream and chocolate frosting.
The lemon strawberry one is more suited for summer tastes but both would be very delisious. Neopolitan is an american favorite too.
