I would like to make my own tote bag?
I want to make my own tote bag for school this year and I didn’t know what type of material or fabric to use.
I want it to be as strong and durable as possible for my books and everything. It would be nice if it was water resistant but that doesn’t matter too much. I don’t want a super expensive material but if it is exactly what I want, price doesn’t matter that much. If the material is organic that’s even better. I want to make little pockets on the inside and have snaps or something, too.
I also had an idea to make changeable designs for the front that I can change whenever I want, so what kind of material would be good for that? That doesn’t need to be as strong, probably just easy to work with. Or would it be better to print the designs on fabric paper and to transfer them?
Any other ideas are welcome!
