did coconut oil ruin my hair?

i use no heat, colour or products in my hair. i wash it with organic shampoo and conditioner, and brush it with a wide toothed comb and boar bristle. i am not rough with it and treat it very very gently. but recently for the past couple months i’ve been putting coconut oil every day on dry hair and noticed my hair (very straight and thin) became steely-wooly in feeling not as before. it’s still smooth but it feels much drier. is it the CO that did this? or what could have caused it? thanks

I don’t think it was that, actually after i used coconut oil, my hair hasn’t been better. But maybe , cuz everyone’s hair is different. But put avocado on your hair, that may fix it. Or they could be split ins.
