Organic Coloring System

Are there any clubs or groups that deal with and talk about Organic Foods and the Possitive Results?

I realize Organic Foods can be expensive. But i also realize there are alot of things in foods that have nasty ingrideints like Hydronated Oils, And High Frutose Corn Syrup, Colors and Food Dyes, It is very important that people realize this. Organic Foods are great!!!!! They break down in your system faster because they do not have all those crazy Preservatives and Ingriedients that cause all kinds of amlments.

Well, this is one place. I like to shop mostly in the outside lane of the grocery store(produce, meat, deli, dairy, bakery.) If you shop on the inside, then reading labels is important. And I like to think, “Is this a God-made food or Man-made?”

If you become a member of a local Food Co-op, it’s a way to get informative health-food magazines(free), plus belong to a group of people interested in healthy eating.

The book, “Food Additives” What’s Safe, & What’s Not” is a dictionary of additives that food manufacturers use. If I can’t pronounce it, then I probably shouldn’t eat it.

EDIT: One more thing, I don’t buy organic fruits with a peel(bananas, oranges)…I’ve read chemicals don’t penetrate through them as much as strawberries, grapes..

During the summer/fall months, I go to the local farmers market…it’s as fresh as you can get. They aren’t organic, persay, because of the cost to be certified, but they tell you how they care for the soil, and you can visit their farm.
It’s a good way to support your community and ‘meet’ people.
