Duck starter fee and substitutions?

atm I do not have an starter feed for my 2 day old duck that I rescued from his mother who was attacker her. I fed her a bit of whole wheat bread soaked in organic soymilk with cornmeal and like 1/4 of a ground up multivitamin bc I know it needs protein and niacin. Do you think I can just give it that for a couple days since that was pretty much drenched in vitamins?

Be very careful with feeding ducks bread, and do not feed them day old, or moldy bread it can give them botulism. She can eat hardboiled eggs chopped fine. Chicken feed without antibiotics will work for ducks, they can eat some veggies, dandilions, get grass clippings and let her pick out of that too.
