Organic Cotton Sheets
Egyptian organic cotton sheets are a great addition to your bedroom because they are luxurious and comfortable. Everyone understands the importance of getting a good night’s rest. Without a good night’s rest, your body will suffer. Unfortunately, it doesn’t take much to ruin a night’s sleep. Uncomfortable bedding can easily cause a person to lose hours of sleep and as a result, they’re irritable, tired, fatigued, and not up to par the next day.
No one ever considers the fact that their sheet sets might be what is causing the problem. Have you ever slept on a bed with fabrics that were course and had a “rough” feeling? Chances are that you have and when you did, you took note of it. The rough fabric was an interference and most of all, it was annoying. If you’re like most people, you enjoy your rest.
The quality of Egyptian organic cotton sheets is considered much better than regular cotton because the fibers the sheets are made with are much longer. As a result, the sheets are softer. Think of the last time that you slept on a bed with “course” sheets. One place that you’ll notice these type of sheets are “cheap” hotel rooms. You might even own a few yourself. The fibers of these sheets are much shorter and can easily interfere with an individual’s quality of sleep.
Another thing that sets Egyptian sheets apart from regular sheets is the durability. Take for example your traditional cotton sheets at home, over the years, you’ve probably noticed how they have “thinned” out and lost their quality. The colors have faded and they have become increasingly uncomfortable. You might even wonder why you haven’t considered buying more. Maybe you haven’t thought about it, or maybe you feel as if you have no need for higher-quality bedding.
Chances are, you’re the type of person who does not see the point in purchasing multiple sheet sets, and if so, with Egyptian organic cotton sheets, you won’t have to. Unlike traditional cotton fabric, you can wash Egyptian sheets as much as you would like without worry of the fabric losing its overall durability. What this means in the long run is that you save money. You’re not left having to buy multiple sheet sets throughout the year.
Because some sheet sets are organic, you’re also helping the environment. Organic cotton is 100 percent pure and is not processed. Cotton is the most processed material in the world. People are not aware of this. When cotton is processed, it’s not good for the environment. Egyptian organic cotton sheets require much less (if any) chemical treatment and processing, making them safer and more comfortable for whomever decides to use them.
For a more comfortable Egyptian cotton bedding set, aim for the sheets with a thread count of 1000. The 1000-count sheet sets are considered much more luxurious and exquisite. Fortunately, the lower thread count Egyptian organic sheets are just as comfortable, even those as low as 400.
Regardless of the type of Egyptian organic bedding you decide to go with, you’ll find that it is a heavenly experience that provides you with the restful sleep needed to wake up each morning feeling recharged, relaxed, and revitalized.
Washing for removal of cotton pesticides?
Does anyone know if you wash your cotton items enough times does it remove alot of the heavy pesticides or do they still linger on the garments. What can you use to get rid of pesticides on cotton fabric (non organic).?
I am not sure about washing the chemicals out of cotton. I know in the case of organic mattresses, before we start the cotton is certified organic. This assures it was not only not treated with chemicals but also grown on land that was free of added chemicals.
