I need help with choosing a recycles fabric for some GCSE exam bag designs?
I have 6 bag designs for my GCSE exam. The brief is art deco and recycled/sustainable fabrics. I’ve designed my bags, but I’m having issues thinking of any fabric other that ‘organic cotton’, which isn’t really suitable for a couple of my designs as they are clutch bags which need a stiffer fabric.
Does anyone know of any I could use? (I don’t have to make the bag, just draw and label it in the examination)

Woven cardboard or recycled plastic strips.
Hemp, flax, canvas.
NB Organic Cotton is not recycled cotton it is cotton grown without use of pesticides – when cotton is recycled I doubt that the final product can be called organic.
