Color is a huge element in fashion. This is why dyeing hair, clothes and everything that needs more color is a part of it.
Dyeing began way before our grandmother’s grandmother was born. The Chinese were already using this technique in 2600 BC. That was said to be the earliest record. But it was in Rome where dyeing wools began. Those dyed wools were exceptionally for royalty. Today, dyeing is just like any ordinary thing that people see and do. Thanks to the discovery of the process, fashion became colorful, fun and crazy.
However, fashion isn’t all about the glitz and glamour… it’s about going green as well. Fashion can still be stylish even when it’s eco-friendly. In fact, I think it’s better!
Since everything is turning organic these days, dyes are doing just exactly the same. Did you know that dyes can be found in the most organic substances? They aren’t very hard to find either. Roots, nuts and flowers are just a few common natural ways to get many colors. Just like the chemical based dyes, yellow, orange, blue, red, green, brown and grey are available.
It’s obvious that organic dyes are friendlier. Not just to the ecosystem but ourselves and our budget as well. I have found a source of organic dyes that are centuries old but are still permanent without using mordants.
My idea is to collect those organic dyes and place them into a work manual. I would find a person who is able to make dresses or skirts and use this experienced fashion agent to market them. I have also found a community that produces embroidery design needed that would add flare to the clothing.
Want to know the latest fashion trend? Bragging your designer dress is way outdated. Showing that it’s green is in! These clothes would be one hundred percent safe. No animals were harmed and no chemicals were used.

Where to buy organic powder dye and potassium nitrate for smokebomb?
What specific stores sell potassium nitrate, fuse(s), and organic powder dye?

That youtube video is a hoax. “Organic powdered dye” and potassium nitrate will not work. Potassium Nitrate burns too hot, it will break down the dye creating ugly gray smoke. What you need is Potassium Chlorate and smoke mix, which is the dye along with other chemicals to make sure the dye is suspended in the smoke and doesn’t break down.
