Everyone complains about eye-bags, puffiness around the eyes or dark circles under the eyes when they hit a certain age. Experts will tell you that you probably don’t need a separate cream or lotion for the eye. Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide are broad-spectrum sun protection ingredients that help protect your skin from UVA rays which cause premature wrinkles. While the SPF rating of the product is important, SPF only applies to sunburn and cancer-causing UVB rays. The SPF rating will not guarantee against UVA rays. And while Avobenzone is an ingredient that works as well Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide, it can irritate the eyes, so it is best not have it on an eye cream.

Moisturizers play an important role in fighting to prevent wrinkles since one of the major reasons why your skin ages and wrinkles is because they dry out. These moisturizers have to be completely organic, so that there are no harsh chemicals to damage the skin.

Peptides are a great ingredient in helping the skin because they contain hormones, antibiotics, and other compounds that participate in the metabolism of all living things. The peptide molecules needed in an eye cream are composed of amino acids that are naturally found in humans and animals, so this has to be manipulated and manufactured. Sadly, organic eye creams will not have this ingredient because they come from plants.

You may want to find other ingredients, but the ingredients mentioned above should be present in your eye cream. Not all damage to the skin will happen naturally.
