Organic Granola Recipe

Detoxification of the digestive system and colon cleansing naturally
What we eat, what we touch, what we breathe and even (though in another sense) what we hear and see, poison our bodies: too much food and/or excess fat or chemical contaminated water, liquid chemicals, dyes and processed sugars, drink alcohol, disinfectants and detergents entering our bloodstream through touch, environmental pollution makes us breathe CO2 and sulfur gases, and smoking cigarettes and other toxic chemicals. These are what we consume every day as part of our daily routine that we do not even notice and consider it to be normal.
However, the adverse effect that these toxins we produce are really critical and occasionally fatal.
Here are some of the symptoms that can tell you that you may have been over exposed: bloating, fatigue, low energy, excessive flatulence, acidity, slow digestion, overweight and anxiety by eating. Allergy to certain types of food can also indicate that toxins are doing its malevolent job; frequent headaches, sleep problems, bad breath and sensation of thirst, common colds with runny phlegmatic, and constipation are also symptoms of toxicity including skin problems such as rashes, eczema and dryness. Redness of the eyes, bags under them, hair loss and hemorrhoids are also to watch for.
The toxins in our body directly affect vital organs such as the lungs, liver, kidneys, pancreas, heart and also affecting the blood, digestive tract and intestines.
If we do nothing to clean our body and to avoid minimizing the consumption of toxins, your body will have a loss of energy trying to self-cleaned and when it fails to do so because of the excess of toxins, it will damage some of the mentioned body organs which will cause diseases that can range from a simple flu to the deadly cancer.
Detoxification of the Digestive Organs (Colon) and Intestines
This is the first step we should follow during our detoxification process. The digestive tract and intestines are the ultimate repository of toxic debris.
Everything you eat, breathe and absorb through our skin, is sent through the various filters we have: kidney, liver, pancreas, and lung. The material disposed of these bodies are sent mostly to the intestines for evacuation by defecation. When they accumulate in our intestines these wastes will be returning to our bodies by working double-filter congested organs. The other reason is that these toxic waste sites are acidic, a condition makes it an ideal area for growing bacteria and parasites which similarly alter our normal internal operation.
Normally we should clean our intestines at least once a day, if it does not, then the problems begin. The colon is the organ most affected in these cases. Colon cancer ranks second in the list of deaths from this disease. There is an old doctor saying: “Death begins in the colon.”
How to avoid these problems?
First, we must substantially change our diet. Raw or steamed fruits and vegetables, drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, and avoid processed foods (white sugar and flour)
What should we do next?
Colon and intestinal cleansing – Removing from your body all that accumulated waste. Then replenish our intestinal flora which help us to strengthen our immune system. Once we do this, we must change our eating habits to avoid intoxicating again.
Colon Cleansing
There are many products on the herbal market for this clean, some are very good but some are very strong and irritating. There is also cleansing through hydrotherapy, effective but must be performed by an experienced professional. If done wrong, it can weaken the intestinal walls and destroys our intestinal flora slowing the process of regenerating itself. Just to clarify, colon problems equally affect women and men, a belief that women mainly have these problems is completely false.
Here will include a homemade recipe for cleaning, but whatever the blend of herbs that we use or consume the product or system we use, we must consider the following points:
* The effects of cleaning will begin to notice around four or five days, is not immediate.
* At first we might be even more congested, you may feel some stomach discomfort and suffer some rash.
* It is possible that during the detoxification process we have any heavy sweating and strong smelly odor.
* Our urine is very dark yellow, thick and with strong odor like feces.
* Take plenty of water to assist and expedite the cleanup process. When you feel these symptoms, do not panic! On the contrary, rejoice because it indicates that the cleansing process is working.
What method do you follow?
The critical days are the first 3 days, so it is advisable to do the cleaning in a holiday period, or a long holiday.
Blend a leaf aloe (Aloe Vera) with 6 prunes, from here is going to be a paste. This paste, which must be kept refrigerated, has only a 1-day effectiveness as aloe oxidizes rapidly and in so doing loses its properties. This paste should be distributed to 3 servings.
Day 1
- Do not take coffee. Nor eat meat of any kind. Do not eat sugar or processed flour (bread, tortillas, pastas, etc).
– To take up a glass of water at room temperature.
– You can take green tea or chamomile, but without sugar.
– Drink a glass of orange juice with the 1nd portion of the aloe and plum paste.
– You can take a bowl of oatmeal and eating fruits.
– Drink as much water as possible during the day.
– By mid-morning, eat yogurt with fruits (without sugar).
– At lunch, soup with steamed vegetables including broccoli, asparagus, spinach, and carrots.
– Drink a glass of orange juice with the 2nd portion of the aloe and plum paste.
– If you are allergic to citrus, substitute orange juice with of papaya juice.
– By mid-afternoon you can eat fruit.
– Prepare a good dinner with salad (lettuce base).
– Use olive oil as dressing with lemon juice and salt.
– Drink a glass of orange juice with the 3rd part of the aloe and plum paste.
– Before going to bed eat some Manzanilla.
Day 2:
Basically the same as day one, just prepare the dough with half the stalk of aloe and plums.
Day 3:
Like the previous two, but this may not include aloe. Use 8 prunes and enough water to make it pasty with consistency.
Day 4:
- By now, you should be releasing through defecation most of toxins and debris that have been accumulated.
– Now we must work with our intestinal flora. It is best to regenerate and nourish with plenty of fiber. We will continue taking all the water that we can and still avoid meat, processed sugars, and processed flours.
– Breakfast with granola in milk (you can sweeten with honey if you want), cheese and a banana.
– By mid-morning eat some yogurt with fruits.
– If you can eat almonds, do so.
– At lunch you can eat grilled fish or tuna in water with green salad.
– Afternoon fruit: strawberries, mango, melon, pin, pears or apples.
– Dinner, steamed vegetables. Spinach and broccoli are ideal.
Day 5:
- Today you can have a cup of coffee, but without sugar. You can sweeten with honey if desired.
– Breakfast with granola and milk. You can also eat Bran biscuits and strawberries or fruit juice
– Yogurt or fruit for the mid-morning.
– Lunch, you can try grilled chicken breast, lettuce salad, and it would be ideally to eat boiled corn.
– Fruits in the afternoon, if not, eat corn on a cob for lunch.
– Dinner with boiled egg, crackers and fruit juice.
After these five days your colon should be as clean. You should feel the difference, like feeling more active and lightweight.
Remember, you must review your eating habits and if possible try to eat more vegetables and fruits than meats. Food should be as natural and half raw as possible: steamed vegetables, natural fruits, and grilled meats. Eliminate processed foods from your diet. Preservatives and processed food are poison! You should also remove the chips from your diet including excess fat.
It is possible to be cleaned and still feel some body aches including hemorrhoids or feeling some pain in the anal area. It is highly advisable and recommended to follow up wit liver and pancreatic cleansing immediately after colon cleansing.
To detoxify the body
One of the easiest ways to help detoxify the body is through natural food, easily assimilated and doesn’t leave a residue. No need to be a vegetarian but must avoid excess meat consumption.
Giving a suggestion for a cleansing of the body is to initiate readers into the discovery of a sense of comfort, lightness, vitality, which can be recovered, of course, without neglecting the various detoxification methods that are currently under medical supervision.
Remember that nature contains all the necessary and essentials to maintain healthy and balanced bodies. Take some pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, oats or wheat bran, that are super high in fiber. Fiber helps cleanse the intestines and prevent the spread of germs and toxins.
Another is the ingestion of edible clay (bentonite), which for its absorbent action (special to attract the toxic molecules that are in suspension), prevents the proliferation of bacteria in different niches and deodorizes intestinal fecal matter and helps to maintain clean intestinal tract. In addition, because of its mineral components, revitalizes the area where it works. But we must remember and be cautioned that the clay is not absorbed by the intestine, so be careful in managing it mainly for people with constipation or intestinal lassitude. By its absorption of water, it can promote the formation of feculent (stool hard and difficult to pass).
Vegetables have important nutrients that nourish the digestive system. They have fiber that carries food waste, minerals and trace elements that contain important nutrients for digestive residential organisms and ion exchange. Fruits are also important, with nutrients that help dispose accumulated toxins in various organs of the body.
In detoxification treatments, fruits (i.e. carrots, pineapple, pears, mango, watermelon, pear, peach , tamarind, medlar, citrus fruits, etc.) are most effective especially with seeds that contain the germ of life.
As you can see, it is not all that complicated to follow some simple but very effective detoxification method. You will feel the effects of nature’s generous release of toxins within 3 days of following this method. Make sure to follow up with lots of fresh fruits and lots and lots and lots of water.
Only under medical surveillance you may proceed to a more profound and lasting detoxification, especially in cases of concurrent suffering from certain diseases.

What are your favorite organic foods (not recipes)?
We’re moving in a few days, and when we move we’re going to try and eat natural foods.
So far I have tuna, organic/raw milk, black olives, granola nut clusters (are those good?), organic chocolate, olive oil, natural juice, and sea salt.
What are some other things? I’m not talking about recipes.
I think I saw organic macaroni and cheese (packaged) is that good?
What are some other food ideas? Thank you(:
Also, is there a such thing as organic ice cream?
Yeah, that mac&cheese is really good, you should get Annie’s brand.
