what to do for my organic herb garden?

so i want it to be completely organic , the seeds are organic and they are in the budding stage but i noticed today that they are attracting bugs , are their organic pesticides , what are my options besides ladybugs to repel bugs.

yes there are organic pesticides but most are broad spectrum and will kill off all your bugs, good and bad. Know that 95% of the insects in your garden are either beneficial or neutral and if you use any insecticide you will be killing/repelling the good with the bad and since the beneficial insects are either carnivores or omnivores they will not come back into your garden until there is a good sized population of pest insects. this is the cycle of using any insecticide, be it naturally based or synthetic based-you kill all the insects and the first insects to come back into your will always be the pest insects. So the normal response is to hit these pests again with poisons and be forced to repeat the cycle.

if you really want to go organic you have to stop the cycle of insecticide use and let Ma nature help you out. You have to allow the pests to get a big enough population so they attract beneficial insects such as ladybugs, praying mantids, lacewings, soldier beetles, leatherwings, pirate bugs, spiders, toads, frogs (okay not insects but they eat ‘em and are extremely sensitive to poisons) and many more.

The thing is when you go organic seriously than you MUST learn about the insects et. al. that inhabit your garden eco-system and know which are the good guys and which are the bad.
