What are the ingredients combinations that are suitable for the skin type you have? Home recipes with various natural ingredients help with different skin problems and it provides shine and vitality that is so needed for every woman. So here they are below, some recipes easily to be prepared and very useful for every type of skin.

Masks for dry skin

1. Mix two green bananas with a tablespoon of honey and a cup of yogurt and apply the mixture on face for 20 minutes, until it dries, then remove it with warm water;

2. Beat an egg white until it becomes thick and add 1 teaspoon of honey and a sunflower oil;

3. Mix a teaspoon of butter with a teaspoon of water and apply this mixture on the dry areas of the face. Allow about 15-20 minutes to act, then wash your face with cold water;

4. And because dry skin is more prone to wrinkles than other skin types, here’s the solution: mix a banana until it becomes a creamy paste, apply it on face for 15-20 minutes, then remove the mask with warm water followed by washing with cold water to close pores.

5. Fruit mask for dry skin: mash some strawberries and mix them with fresh cream. Apply the paste on your face and leave it on for 20-30 minutes.

Masks for oily skin

1. Clean two apples and mix them with a tablespoon of honey. Let the mixture act for 20 minutes then wash face with water;

2. Mix two tablespoons of bran with a teaspoon of yeast, one teaspoon of lemon juice and a tablespoon of water. Massage your face with this paste especially around the nose and chin and avoid the eye area. Allow 1-2 minutes to act, then rinse with warm water;

3. Mix a half lemon and half a cup of oatmeal and a beaten egg white. Apply this mixture on face and after it dries, remove it with warm water.

Masks for normal skin

1. Mix a half cup of mustard with 2 tablespoons of water, then add some rose petals. Apply this mixture on face for half an hour and remove it with water.

2. Apply a paste on the face made from papaya and remove it after 20 minutes.

3. Make a paste of a lemon, half an orange and a glass of skim milk. Apply mask on face for 20 minutes.

4. Apply the paste made from a banana and strawberries to bring freshness to your skin.

5. Mix two carrots, an egg yolk and a glass of milk. Apply this mixture on your face and let it act for 20 minutes.

6. Refreshing mask for normal skin: small cucumber, finely chop it and mix it with half a glass of fresh yogurt. Apply the paste on the face for 5-10 minutes and remove it with water.

Tips before applying a facial mask:

1. Clean the face with a good lotion;

2. If your skin is dry, apply a layer of moisturizer before using a mask;

3. Apply the mask all over the face, avoiding eyes and lips;

4. Do not move at all after applying the face mask;

5. Do not use makeup for 2-3 hours after removing the mask.

2-3 large carrots
4 1/2 tablespoons honey
Cook carrots, then mash. Mix with honey. Apply gently to the skin, wait 10 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.

A plain baking soda and water mask is by far the best you can do for acne prone skin. Mix a water and baking soda in a cup until the consistancy of a thinner paste. Pat on face (do not rub) and let sit till it hardens then rinse off. This has done miracles for my sensitive acne prone skin!! Plus it’s all natural! Sometimes I add a few drops of tea tree oil too. Once or twice a week is plenty for this treatment.
