Why wont my product work on my acne scars?

Well, I made my own product. I had a scar on my arm, so i tested it out on the scar/scab. It worked, and the scar was all gone. But when i try it on my acne scars, it wont work. Btw, my acne scars are on my face. Where the pores are supposed to be. I don’t see why my product wont work. You see, products i buy from the market don’t work at all. So i made my own product, containing organic honey, organic sugar, and green tea. Sugar is supposed to kill the scar tissue, but it wouldn’t work on my acne scars. Please help.
