Is Iced Tea A Good Alternative to Soft Drinks?

Some of the commonly popular flavors of iced tea are – mango, lemon, green, citrus, peach, white, and raspberry.
You too can enjoy drinking the flavor you like as the best alternative to sweetened, carbonated soft drinks. Many ways of drinking
Iced lemongrass tea: Buy iced tea that has the flavor of lemongrass. Put a few spoons from the packet into a pot of boiled water and cover the vessel. Add some sugar and boil for a few minutes. Add fresh mint leaves and drink chilled.
Iced ginger root tea with lime: Boil it in a pot of water and the juice of lime. Chill it before drinking. Drinking such beverage is also helpful against indigestion and cold. It tastes great too!
There are many other interesting flavors of the beverage that you will get in the market. However, it is suggested that you buy tea only from a reputed online dealer. This is because, if you are not considering the brand and the quality, you are compromising on the taste. So, this summer, beat the heat with iced tea and say “NO” to soft drinks!
Why is the (aq) tea solution cooled to 15-20 celsius before dichloromethane is added?
This question relates to an organic chemistry lab concerning the extraction of caffeine from tea. Before beginning the extraction with dichloromethane the amount of boiled tea solution is vacuum filtered and then cooled in an ice bath to reach 15-20 degrees celsius. Why does it have to be cooled?

Inhalation causes irritation to respiratory tract. Has a strong narcotic effect with symptoms of mental confusion, light-headedness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting and headache. Causes formation of carbon monoxide in blood which affects cardiovascular system and central nervous system. Continued exposure may cause increased light-headedness, staggering, unconsciousness, and even death. Exposure may make the symptoms of angina (chest pains) worse.
if it gets too hot, it emits highly toxic fumes of phosgene when heated to decomposition. Decomposes in a flame or hot surface to form toxic gas phosgene and corrosive mists of hydrochloric acid. Carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide may form when heated to decomposition.
trust me, it gets better after that…anyway, you don’t want that in the air. So that’s why you bring the temp down to well below 40C.
