No this is not safe at all, it is too hard for your baby to digest, do not do this until at least 9 months old, sticklers will say 12 months, but I have known several people who switched at 9 months with no issues, but 5 months is way to early.
When you switch though koodos to you for using organic!!!My fav. is Horizons with added Dha.
When you switch do so slowly, start with 2 oz, to 6 oz. of formula (by this time your baby will drink 8 oz bottles, not 6oz) after a week or two go to 4 oz. milk to 4 oz. formula, after another week or two, go to 6 oz. milk to 2 oz. formula, then after a week of this you can go to all 8 oz. of milk, this helps them adjust better.
