How do I harvest kale?

I have a little garden, amongst the veggies and fruit is a kale plant. The spike in temperature caused it to grow really big, the area also has a baby strawberry plant and cabbage so I need to get rid of some to make room an’ whatever.

Cut off the large outer leaves at the base of the plant. The inner, smaller leaves will continue to grow for future harvesting.

When I cut things from the garden, I put them in a large bowl of cold water and a tablespoon of salt. Wash them well, rinse several times. They will be clean and free of any outside stuff that you don’t want.
