Gastrointestinal function affecting the baby milk powder too thick
Some mothers think that little children’s milk, may wish to increase the number of Milk powder The amount, concentration higher, so even eat less, no problem. In fact, this is not right, milk is not the stronger, the better.
For babies, other than breast milk, Milk Is the best staple food baby. In the absence of the conditions of fresh milk, milk powder is an ideal choice. However, some young parents who hope their children grow up quickly, long sturdy. Took a very strong formula fed babies eat dash. In fact, babies with milk that milk is not too thick red system useful, even harmful, parents should be aroused great attention.
Infant diarrhea for many reasons, but parents may rarely be aware of: the concentration of infant formula can cause diarrhea too. Therefore, parents should pay attention to prepare the infant formula is also luxurious.
1. Acute gastroenteritis, diarrhea, milk when not prepared and too thick, but should avoid dairy products, meat, seafood and other foods to reduce the chance of food allergies;
2. In addition to diarrhea of infant formula milk may be appropriate where a number of reconstituted thin, the other conditions required to follow the instructions to the concentration of preparation, high concentrations lead to high permeability, damage of gastrointestinal mucosa, causing diarrhea or imbalance within the environment, long-term lack of concentration is too low will lead to feeding, malnutrition;
3. Lactose intolerance or milk protein allergies can drink low-density, small doses of milk gradually adapting to the desensitization, then have to pay attention to shading.
Also easily lead to baby formula too thick lips foaming will breastfeed their children should drink boiled water, so as not to cause thrush. Recommend that you check the kids to the hospital to avoid infection. Why babies should not eat too thick
‘s milk? The original, which is not yet mature baby related gastrointestinal function. A new born baby whose gastrointestinal function is weak, but mainly casein in milk is not digestible. If the milk is even more difficult to digest and absorb too thick will cause indigestion, dry stool, can cause severe necrotizing hemorrhagic enteritis, leading to serious consequences. Therefore, consumption of infant formula should not be punching in too thick milk. The use of fresh milk feeding, the newborn child should also be early or premature diluted before feeding.
Milk concentration should be proportional with the children age, their concentration gradually increases according to months of age. Too thick, the nutritional content of milk concentration, more than the infant gastrointestinal absorption limit, not only can not digest, and may damage the digestive organs, diarrhea, constipation, loss of appetite, or poor feeding. Over time, not only can not increase its weight, but may cause liver and kidney damage.
Correct feeding practices are: First, add water, milk should be reduced to fresh milk, that is 1:4 by volume (ie, add 1 spoonful of milk powder 4 spoons of water) or 1:8 by weight (50 grams of milk powder that is added 400 grams of water ), punching in this formula milk to feed babies, will help your baby grow up healthy.
Similarly, lest too light of fresh milk, milk powder, in which joined the practice is wrong.

Trader Joe’s Soy Cheese Alternative-what’s the point?!?
These are the ingredients: Soy Base (Water, Organic Soymilk Powder), Casein (Milk Protein)
I stopped reading after the milk protein.
What the hell is the point of having a soy cheese that has milk in it?!
I’m a vegan, and I ate this cheese once, before reading the ingredients more closely.
This just pisses me off.
So my question is, what is the point of having the “Soy” label if you still use milk?
Why would you do that if you can just have cheese with milk?! Just to fool people?
What if someone’s lactose intolerant and they buy that thinking it really is soy cheese?
Jesus christ this is ridiculous.
It doesn’t even say Contains: Milk and Soy products.
just something about processing in a factory that also processes almonds.
They’re catering to lactose intolerant people. Personally, I think everyone who does that has a terrible business model, seeing as they can greatly enlarge their clientele by taking out the milk. But I used to eat that kind before I was smart, and the milk protein does make it taste a lot more real, so I think that’s why they do it, and because animal additives are extremely cheap (as is GM soy). That, or they just don’t know there are people who willingly give up dairy. Either way I’m glad they’re not getting our money!
okay I’m done ranting!
-edit- Oh also, just so you know, an easy rule of thumb for seeing if something is for vegans or lactose intolerants is… if it’s for lactose intolerants, it will say “LACTOSE FREE,” and if it’s completely non-dairy, it will say that… but that doesn’t mean it’s automatically vegan.
