I have recently spent 9 days in hospital with seizures but have been told no organic cause found. Help!?
I had a shaky hand and a couple of seizures whilst I was asleep (they woke my husband up). I then had a more severe one at my GP’s and he sent me to hospital where I had a further 6 or 7 in A & E. I was kept in but they said no organic cause found and said that they were real seizures but felt stress or depression couldbe the cause. They made me see some psych liaison people who both felt that I was neither stressed or depressed. I have been discharged now on no treatment and they are still happening and I am scared and don’t know where to turn. Please help.
I sympathise with your plight. I bet they would soon sort you out if you went private!
I had a similar condition with sickness and was in hospital for a month. After several tests the consultant sent me home saying he didn’t know what was wrong with me so there was no point in seeing him any further.
