To make money from your garden, the possibilities are endless. You can grow a cutting garden with a flower stand out front to earn money from your garden, or sell the flower bouquets to in-town B&Bs that don’t grow their own, or to restaurants and hotels; sell high priced rare gourmet food crops to nearby five star restaurants, such as rare edible flowers or fresh ethnic food crops.

Are there any organic produce delivery companies in Milwaukee?

I’m looking for an organic produce delivery company in Milwaukee. I’ve found this service very useful in the past when I’ve lived in Detroit and in the Bay Area. I’m not looking for a CSA where I’d have to pick it up. I don’t have a car so I need it delivered to my door step. The companies I’ve used in the past are Door to Door Organics www.doortodoororganics.com, Planet Organics www.planetorganics.com, and Farm Fresh to You (Capay Farms) www.farmfreshtoyou.com. I can’t find anything like it here in Milwaukee and it’s such a shame with all of these farms around! Some one please tell me it exists.

I don’t know of anything either, although you can try Peapod. They do have some organic items.

But here’s where you can find out – go to Whole Foods on the east side or to an Outpost Exchange. Check there, and/or get copies of the free newsletters they have on display there. I can’t remember the names but they cater to that kind of clientele.

Chances are if there is such a thing you’ll find it advertised in there.
