why do liberals hate freedom?

why do liberals not understand history and that central economic planning doesnt work because the central planners are not smart enough to manage an economy because it is organic and has too many moving parts and always fails long term because there is the incentive for more and more control and regulation and less and less incentive for productivity. There is a finite amount of resources and government distribution is inefficient and creative no value.

If you live in a country where the government has the power to take what is yours and redistribute it to someone else then you are not free.

Socialism is the opposite of freedom.
