How To Make Organic Soap

With recent breakthroughs in sciences from across the globe, there has been a great rise in the number of organic soap manufacturers around the world. Apart from normal soaps, these organic soaps are proven to be more nourishing and healthy for one’s skin. They are made of the best of natural and organic elements that are rich in nutrients and vitamins that help the skin rejuvenate and add a fresh appeal to the body. While there may be many manufacturers that are capable of delivering these commodities in the market, what many people do not realize that these soaps are non complicated to make and can be made individually as well.

In order to make an organic soap, individuals will need to get a few raw materials so as to help them augment the properties of the soap. The first material that needs to be procured from a local organic store is the fragrances and essential oils. There are a plethora of fragrances and oils one can opt from as per their likings and specifications. It is vital to buy 100% organic materials so as to obtain a quality end product. The next procurement that would need to be made is the base of the soap. A specialist at a local health center will help one choose a base from within their store. One should make sure that they read the materials well before making a purchase. The next step is to buy a mould or custom make one. There are plenty of ready-made moulds available in the market and are available in different sizes of shapes and sizes. Few of the predominant shapes include hearts, ovals, circles, cubes and stars. Once one has gathered these essential materials, they can continue with the manufacturing process.

The soap base is required to be poured into a crock pot or a boiler where it will melt on the basis of the heat. Once fully melted, the essential oils and fragrances can be added in strict quantities making sure not to overdo it. The mixture then needs to be poured into the mould of choice and left to cool. It is advised to let the mixture in the mould cool down for around 24 hours. Once completed, the mould should then be extracted from the soap and it is ready for use.

Can glycerin produce foam in organic soaps?

My handmade non-chemical, herbal soap produces a lot of foam. Its chief ingredients are sandal, turmeric, rose and glycerin. I wonder what ingredient makes it do that. Hope they are not using some chemical like SLS without declaring it.
