Get moldy or smoky odors out of your home!

You can create a really strong cleaning solution by mixing fresh lemon juice with water. Baking soda can also reduce the musty odor caused by mold because it will absorb the scent, but you have to use a lot of it. Finally, if you are getting mold out of a bathroom, the strongest thing you can use is hydrochloric acid. It will kill mold on contact, but it is very corrosive and will even damage wood, so be very careful when you are using it.

When you are doing smoke restoration or fire damage restoration yourself, you may find that for the most part, it is fairly easy to clean up dirty walls, floors, and even a lot of the furniture. The hardest part is often the smoky smell that is leftover from house fires. Smoke can literally penetrate walls, making it really hard to ever get rid of that smell!

I want to bake chocolate chip cookies I have everything EXCEPT for the maple syrup and whole wheat flour. I do have maple extract and organic white flour. What can I do to modify it without having these two ingredients. I mean I have flour just not whole wheat, but I have no maple syrup and never use it to start with, but I have extract. Help please.
This is the recipe.
6 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
¼ cup raw sugar
¼ c pure maple syrup
½ slightly ripe banana
2 tbsp non dairy milk
1 ½ cup rolled oats
½ cup whole wheat flour
¼ tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground flax seed
a few dashes of cinnamon
¼ cup chocolate chips
is there anything I can replace then for the maple syrup???

I believe that the flours can be interchangeable cup for cup measures. As for the maple syrup, you can mix up something that can act as a substitute. I’ve used this before when I’m out of syrup for pancakes. It’s about 20 minutes to throw together. Don’t know if you have all the ingredients, though.

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp butter
1 tsp maple extract or vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water

Heat the granulated sugar in a skillet until it melts, turning light brown.

Place brown sugar and water in a saucepan and heat to boiling. Don’t stir. Add the melted sugar to the brown sugar mixture. Simmer, and stir regularly until the mixture is thick. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and extract.
