Kitchen Cleaning Chores – Being Organized Is Half The Battle Won
Copyright (c) 2010 Kaye Dennan
Kitchen cleaning tips will help get those cleaning chores done faster and cleaner than ever. Cleaning a kitchen can take forever if the kitchen is not in an organized state. It is the one room in the house that everybody has access to. The constant flow of traffic through a kitchen sometimes means the home owner will leave more items out and available than would normally be the case.
By using these kitchen cleaning tips and organizing the kitchen the chore will be so much easier.
7 Kitchen Cleaning Tips
1. Go through the kitchen and throw out any outdated products. Anything that is just about at the due date needs to be used immediately.
2. Organizing your pantry is a must as being organized in this area will make life much easier. Use containers for your products, whether they be glass jars or plastic containers and then make sure that each of them has a label. Is it time for you to purchase a set of pantry containers so that the contents are all organized? Organizing the pantry is not just a matter of making it look nicer and be cleaner, but also making it much easier to find items.
3. Before putting your pantry items back, clean out the cupboard with a mix of water and vinegar which is a natural disinfectant. Consider this tip: put a dry erase board inside the pantry door to list the items that are running low.
4. Attack the fridge organization in the same manner, so that items can be found really easily and the fridge cleaned easily in the future. Before placing items back in the fridge wipe it out with a mix of lemon juice and water to freshen it up and remove odors.
5. Wipe out the microwave with vinegar and water. If there are any hard burnt on pieces of food put 1/2 a cup of water in the microwave for 1 minute on high and this should loosen it.
6. Cleaning down the bench tops – with so many different bench tops on the market do find out which products are going to do the job efficiently and not damage the top. Often you will be recommended a commercial cleaner but an eco friendly product like vinegar and water will most like do the trick without all the toxins. For tougher stains sprinkle some baking soda over the area then rub down with the vinegar and water mix. Do take care with baking soda because it is also an abrasive.
7. Baking soda is also a very good eco friendly product for cutting through grime and bleaching grout so if you have either of these jobs to do in the kitchen then use it by making a paste, spreading it on the area of concern and using a scrubbing brush to remove it. Then rinse with clean water.
When cleaning bench tops or other softer items like carpet and lino, do ‘a test clean’ first in an area that will not be noticeable if there is a little color fading. This is always a good motto when using products throughout the house because there are so many new products in the market place. As mentioned earlier, if the kitchen is organized then our kitchen cleaning tips will make the chore that much easier.
Can baldness among men be stopped?
Baldness happens to both young and old men. What’s the cause? Looks like there’s no cure or Steve Balmer of Microsoft with his billions would have had a head full of hair. I am getting worried and I am trying various organic kitchen stuff for cure. Bee honey is one that I have tested recently. I read also an article that wounding the scalp would work. Any expert advice?
Disclaimer: I’m not an expert.
I have heard that baldness is passed down through the mother’s side. If you mother’s father is bald, chances are you will be bald too. Baldness is caused by a certain type of testosterone that prevents the hair folicle from growing. Some drugs claim to block this so as to keep hair growing. There is also hair transplant where they take hair from one part of your head and transplant to the balding areas. That way, the healthy hair continues to grow on the entire head. (or so I understand). Some people simply don’t care about going bald, or don’t care about doing anything about it. (i.e. my dad, grandpa) I really don’t want to go bald (my mother’s dad is bald) so once it starts happening, I am going to start looking into options to keep my hair. Hope some of this helps.
