Getting Organized For A Tradeshow

A tradeshow provides your business with a unique opportunity. It is an opportunity to present your business to your community and let everyone know who you are and what you do. Getting out and talking to potential customers at a tradeshow is also a great way to train employees on how to summarize your business information into a short concise package.

A tradeshow for your industry is a great time but there are some things to think about as it draws closer. You want to have an attractive tradeshow booth, so this may be a challenge, particularly if this is your business’ first tradeshow attendance. Make sure there is lots of exposure for your company name and logo in your booth, but don’t make it look messy.

If you have a company that you order promotional products from already then you should get in touch with them when you begin to create the tradeshow booth initially. Their ability to create or supply all the items you will require for the show, plus the customer service representative will be helpful for suggestions for the booth creation and the best items to place there.

After they have helped you get everything you need to design a professional booth, the next thing you will need to address is getting a bunch of logo imprinted giveaway items for the show. Some of the most popular tradeshow items that companies are drawn to are usually the promotional water bottles, sports bottles, travel mugs and balloons. Of course this is usually in addition to the promotional pens and baggies that most companies hand out to prospective customers as well. This in no way means that these are the items that you should get, but are just some of the ideas of items that other companies may be using.

It is alright to be creative when choosing your tradeshow giveaway items. The more creative you can be with them the bigger effect they may have. And truly if everyone at the tradeshow is offering the same items, this won’t impress customers as much as getting a nice useful item from you that stand out from what everyone else has. Sometimes handing out items that impress your customers can be enough to get people flocking to your booth. So don’t be afraid to try something a little different.
