Properties and Recommendations:

A very hydrating balm thanks to Squalane and Aquaxyl. It is recommended for dry and/or sensitive skin. It also has anti-age and regenerating properties thanks to enhancing ingredients, Tamanu Oil, Aloe, vitamin E. Its natural fragrance opens on a note of white jasmine that blends into a core of peach, violet and mimosa. Its lasting aroma is the pleasant sweetness of vanilla.

Apply as a finishing product after a body treatment, or at home, once or twice a day. Massage in for a while as the natural white film absorbs, giving the skin a soft and silky touch.

Key Ingredients:

• Organic Tamanu oil: used in thousand years old traditions by Polynesian athletes, and by Vahine to protect their children’s skin. Tamanu (“who eliminates negative energies” in Tahitian) is rich in anti-age flavonoides. It promotes skin regeneration and hydration. It helps reduce skin aging caused by free radicals.  It also has well knows anti-inflammatory, analgesic and healing properties.

• Organic sunflower oil: rich in omega 6 and 9, and in vitamin E and F. Sunflower oil moisturizes and softens the skin. It penetrates easily and leaves a non-greasy soft touch.

• Squalane from olive: a natural emollient from olive. It is one of the main components of the skin’s natural sebum. It is an excellent anti-aging oil that moisturizes, regenerates, and protects the skin.

• Organic aloe: acts directly on collagen fibre and induces skin elasticity. It contains complex polysaccharides which allow water retention for better hydration. Effective in the treatment of a variety of skin diseases.

• Aquaxyl:ahydrating complex of natural origin (wheat and wood). It promotes hydrous flow of the skin. This potent ingredient has proven efficacy in hydrating and restructuring skin cells.

• Vitamin E: a main antioxidant of the organism, it protects cells against free radicals. It also protects oils from oxidation.

• Organic Verbena Flower Water: is cooling, soothing and softening. It has a calming mood effect and is recommended for nervous or depressed people. It is also known for its firming and healing action on skin and consequently recommended in case of cellulite and psoriasis of nervous origin.

Carrot Cake turns moldy after 3 hours out of oven. Why?

My carrot cake turns moldy quickly after it’s out of the oven. It’s not covered entirely in mold, but has moldy spots. I use organic carrots; free-range chicken eggs; China-Tunghing-Cassia Cinnamon; baking soda; flour; sugar; olive oil; salt; buttermilk and vanilla. None of the ingredients are expired. Is the cake having a strange chemical reaction? Should I add/subtract anything? Thanks for your help.

I agree with the others that it’s not mold. It could be the olive oil reacting with the buttermilk or the “curds” separating from the buttermilk. Carrot cake should be refrigerated after cooling, but it’s just barely cooled to room temp at 3 hrs.
