why do liberals always have to force their liberal views on every one?

some hippie yelled at me the other day for asking if the organic store carried veal. I got a 10 minute speech about what was wrong with me for eating baby cow. Then a 10 minute speech about he was a vegan and that the whole world would be better if no one ate animals. I mean seriously this guy worked at the f,ing grocery store.

You’re mixing things up a little. This guy was not a liberal – he was a vegan.

In fact, in today’s world, liberal and conservative don’t have much meaning, and have become more or less synonymous with “me” and “good” (conservative) and “them” and “bad” (liberal.)

We need to stop talking about liberal and conservative, and start talking about what decisions preserve the right of the individual to make decisions for themselves, to live in a society free of discrimination, and to not force their own value system upon other people.
