Natural Remedy For Yeast Infection – Yogurt Remedy For Yeast Infection
A popular natural remedy for yeast infection is yogurt. But it can’t be your everyday yogurt. As a yeast infection natural remedy it has to be special yogurt. Here, you’ll discover which type of yogurt to use, and, how to use it.
Why is yogurt such a poplar natural remedy for yeast infection?…
To understand that, you first need to understand how these infections are caused. They are caused by a yeast-like fungus called Candida Albicans. This micro-organism can be found quite naturally in our bodies. But it is kept under control by your ‘beneficial’ bacteria, so that it doesn’t normally cause you any problems.
But, there are occasions when your friendly bacteria can be reduced in numbers so that the Candida can in fact ‘overgrow’ and spread, causing your infection. There are many underlying issues or conditions that can cause this including (but not limited to); lowered immune system, diabetes, antibiotics, steroids, poor nutrition (unhealthy diet), body pH changes, contraception, hormonal changes, taking drugs, obesity, etc.
Okay, so what makes yogurt such a good natural remedy for yeast infection?…
First off, it has to be plain, unsweetened yogurt, plus, it must contain live, active cultures. This should be marked on the tub or label. If you aren’t sure, ask the assistant.
Plain yogurt is special in the sense that it contains Lactobacillus Acidophilus which are live ‘friendly’ bacteria which are capable of fighting the Candida fungi anywhere in your body.
I want to try yogurt as a natural remedy for my yeast infection so what do I need to do?…
You can use it 3 ways:-
1. Eat plain yogurt every day. The Lactobacillus Acidophilus will attack the Candida fungi in your intestinal tract and help to restore the balance.
2. Just coat it on the vagina and vulva. Do this in the evening at home because it can be messy.
3. For internal vaginal use, just soak a tampon in the yogurt and use as normal overnight. Repeat until your symptoms disappear, plus, 1 more day.
This seems too easy: is yogurt a complete natural cure for yeast infection?…
Well, not quite. Although yogurt can give many women relief from their symptoms, it’s only one of loads of natural remedies out there. Some work better than others, and some worker better for some folks rather than other folks. It depends on your circumstances.
And, there are other issues to address in order to find the complete natural cure for your yeast infection. For example; your diet, your weight, general health, underlying medical conditions, lifestyle, and so on. If you just concentrate on the symptoms and not the root cause plus underlying issues, it can be difficult to arrive at a complete cure.
To get the facts on a totally natural remedy for yeast infection, that thousands of women around the world have succesfully employed to eliminate their yeast infections fast and permanently, go now to http://how-to-get-rid-of-a-yeast-infection.blogspot.com where you’ll discover their secret.
Saugeen organic yogurt – why are there trans fats?
I eat as natural and nutrition-wise as possible.. and I was making a snack with yogurt today and looked at the label at the fats out of curiosity.
This yogurt’s ingredients are:
-whole organic non-homogenized milk
-bacterial cultures
Yet, this yogurt has 0.2 trans fats. I’ve noticed some natural cheeses also have a level of trans fats. Is this due to a pasteurization process? Or is it just naturally there?
My guess would be from the milk that’s in there.
