HELP! My cat has diarrhea and its getting worst!! NOTHING WORKS!..PLEASE HELP?

I got my fat cat in the shelter back in Jan. He had diarrhea then till now STILL. I took him to the vet and he tested positive for coccidia and they gave him meds for it. He still had the diarrhea.Test for parasites again 2 weeks ago and NO PARASITES at all…but his diarrhea persists and its getting worst. THE VET HAS NOT DONE ANYYYYTHING AND LEFT FOR VACATION. I also feed him the Hills science diet…tried the yogurt thing…tried the 1/4 teaspoon organic vinagar thing…did not work. someone please help. I’m really depressed about this and he has been dropping watery poo in random parts of the apartment 3 times now..its getting worst. and yes i’ve been trying to keep him hydrated.. any advice would be much appreciated.

Try another vet. I’ve gotten mixed diagnoses b4 w/2 different problems frm 2 different vets. Also, the tests could have been false negatives. My cat had explosive diarrhea on and off for a month, but tested negative for parasites. I tried the yogurt, too, but it really didn’t work. So, the vet told me to change her food to Purina EN. I did, but it didn’t quit. So, after another trip with sample in hand, she tested positive for round worms. It’s crazy that something so common could be misdiagnosed like that!
Hopefully, it’s something curable and not colon cancer. Until u can get an appointment tomorrow or whenever, try not to stress out too much.
