anyone in this program or know anyone thats in it? i know its a pretty new program but if you are in it, can you tell me more info about it and were the required classes hard?? because i heard you have to take the following in your first 2 years:
General Chemistry (Chem 6ABC) and lab (Chem 6BL)
Calculus (Math 20 ABCD)
Physics (Phys 2ABD)
Organic Chemistry (Chem 140ABC) and lab (Chem 143A)
Intro. Biology (BILD 1,2)

I looked through my general catalog and could not find one thing on it! I haven’t heard about it, but I can tell you about the classes. The classes at UCSD are intense, especially science and math. I’m not trying to scare you, just prepare you. For whatever reason, some people really struggle with chemistry and calculus. If you took calculus in high school and did well I think you’ll be fine in the 20 classes. The calculus 10 section is easier, but thats for non math and non science majors (or that’s what a friend told me). I’m taking 10 and it’s not too bad. That’s all that I really know (Im not majoring in science). I would go back to where ever you heard about the program and try to find more, or give the school a call. I’m sorry I couldn’t help more, but good luck!
