Similac Organic Sugar

my babies keep spitting up?

Im a mom of 6 1/2 wk old twins. Ive changed their formula, at first they ate similac organic and I found out it had alot of sugar and make them constipated. They also spit up on this. The doc put them on similac sensitive R.S., this was good but we cant find it in the stores here so we are on similac sensitive, it just doest have the rice cereal. We’ve been using rice cereal because formula alone wasnt doing it for them. They are both over 9lbs! Am I overfeeding? They eat 4 oz bottles every 3/12 to 5 hrs.They are still having hard stools as well but I put a lil apple juice in their bottles and it comes out a whole lot better. Not sure how to make the spitting up stop. Chunks are in it too. We go back to the doc on Tues. Thank you in advice for anything you can tell me

Spitting up is not necessarily indicative of a problem. If a baby isn’t uncomfortable and is gaining weight well, there isn’t cause for alarm. Burp your babies often, keep them upright for a bit after feeding and buy more burp cloths. I would check with your doctor about the apple juice, unless he is the one that recommended that to you.
