Local Company to Manufacture New Innovative Laundry Detergent Sheets
Moncton, NB, Canada – Prelam Enterprises Ltd. is pleased to announce that they will officially begin manufacturing of their new, biodegradable, no mess, laundry product at their manufacturing facility located in Moncton, New Brunswick, beginning in February 2011. Owners Luc Jalbert and Donald Goguen believe their product Dizolve™ is sure to revolutionize the way Canadian’s do their laundry.
Going up against detergent giants like Procter & Gamble, Sun Products Corporation and Dial, Prelam is sure to wow consumers with their pre-measured, eco-friendly laundry detergent sheets which will be the first of it’s kind that can proudly bear the title of being entirely made right here in the Maritimes, right down to the packaging materials.
Dizolve Laundry Detergent Sheets™ are advanced in that it leaves the consumer in full control of their wash, eliminating overdosing. Simply drop a sheet into the wash and it completely dissolves to create the soap needed to effectively clean your laundry. It’s so easy, even the kids can do it! You have all of the cleaning power of regular detergent without the usual detergent mess. The beauty of this product is that the sheets are pre-perforated and can easily be torn in half to accommodate smaller loads.
Inventor and entrepreneur Luc Jalbert first conceived the concept of laundry detergent sheets during his travels abroad several years ago. Mr. Jalbert thought that a laundry sheet would be the ideal solution to messy detergent issues associated with jugs and powders. After spending many years researching, Mr. Jalbert realized he could manufacture a product that could be used by the average family, as a laundry sheet didn’t exist on the market at that time. “I have seen many powders, liquids and puck detergent products however, most contained a lot of waste water, plastic and harsh chemicals,” stated Luc Jalbert. “In my search for a biodegradable, mess free detergent, I felt that what was already out there was
simply unacceptable. I didn’t want to lug home a heavy jug full of water that I already have an abundance of at home and then, deal with disposing of this large plastic container that takes up most of the room in my garbage bag. I thought there’s got to be a better way, as this was such a waste. I decided to make my idea a reality, and several years later Dizolve™ is the result.”
Dizolve™ is available in a 10-load trial format as well as a 32-load format. Packaged in units of 12 for retail sale, Dizolve™ comes in three great scents: Fresh Linen, Lavender and Unscented. Made from plant-based ingredients, Dizolve™ has been certified by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) as being readily biodegradable in 14 days.
