What Campbell soups are vegetarian?
It seems like the regular tomato soup, cream of broccoli, and cream of mushroom would be fine… but I wanted to be sure so I called Campbell Soup Company and asked. [if you want to hear it from them, the customer service number is 1-800-257-8443] Here’s what I found out… they are NOT!
The only “vegetarian” safe soups are ‘vegetarian vegetable’ and their microwavable ‘soup-at-hand tomato soup’.
The Campbell’s representative also reported some V8 soups and Swanson broths (both owned by Campbell) were vegetarian. They are golden butternut squash, garden broccoli, sweet red pepper, and Swanson organic vegetable broth, and regular vegetable broth.
I know I answered my own question but I just wanted people to be able to know and find the real answer when they do a search.
Thank YOU ! I am glad I havent had their ‘vegetarian soups’ in a long time
